Dinosaur Chest Event has sold professional lighting since 2013, from a showroom where everything is powered up. It is the only way to compare honestly: two panels quoted at the same output can render skin very differently, and no catalogue figure hints at it. So we keep a wall of fixtures, a test chart, a chair and a certain amount of patience. Photographers arrive with a reference image and leave with the gear that gets closest to it, sometimes for a third of the budget they expected to spend.
